This
year’s
Earth Day observances had more veg presence
than ever before. Caring FARM supporters
and other dedicated activists got active
in more than 200
communities across
the U.S. and Canada to educate
the masses about the environmental consequences
of animal agriculture and its connection
to global warming.
FARM mailed out 130 full Earth
Day Event Packs complete with
handouts, stickers, signup sheets and
more. Our colorful, postcard-sized handouts
were a hit – we sent 20,000
handouts for distribution
at Earth Day activities! 
FARM staff conducted
outreach in Washington, D.C. at
the massive Green Apple Earth Day Festival
on the National Mall… and rainstorms
didn’t dampen our spirits! FARM
distributed information, held signs,
collected Earth Day Veg Pledge sign-ups
and also volunteered at the
11th
Hour table.
Our colorful, postcard-sized
handouts carry a clear, concise message
linking a meat-based diet to global warming
and other devastating environmental impacts.

to our weekly e-newsletter, Meatout
Mondays.
