Meet Chef Suzi
Suzanne Gerber is the author of Plant-Based Gourmet specializing in plant-based cuisine and food as medicine. Suzi has traveled the world studying flavor and the relationship between food and health. A regular contributor to VegNews, Shape, Livestrong, and Eat This, Not That, Suzi equates plant-based living to a happier and healthier future for animals, the planet, and humans alike.
A Fellow of the National Institute of Food and Agriculture of the USDA, Suzi studied behavioral science with a special interest in medical applications of lifestyle intervention and has presented at symposia held by the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, Johns Hopkins University, and New York University. She is presently pursuing a PhD in Nutrition at Tufts University Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy.
