Make Every Day Vegan Earth Day

Each year on April 22 the world comes together to celebrate Earth Day, a time when we look beyond our own needs and remember the needs of the Earth. We are nourished by its vegetation, we are protected from harsh UV rays, we are given life through air and water. Simply speaking, we need our planet. And yet, we seem destined to ignore the needs of Earth, its natural environments, living creatures, air, water and atmosphere. We forget our role in contribution to the destruction of all these things.

Why Go Plant-Based for the Environment?

Each year at this time we are asking people to think about the impact of food choices to help save our environment. Raising animals for food accelerates global warming, depletes our water resources, poisons our waterways, and destroys forests and other wildlife habitats.

In an environmentally sustainable world, we must replace meat and dairy products in our diet with vegetables, fruits, and grains, just as we replace fossil fuels with wind, solar, and other renewable energy sources.

the Environment on Your Plate

The choices we make every day have the power to either harm our environment or heal it. Choosing plant-based foods is one of the most meaningful ways we can reduce our impact and create a healthier, more sustainable future. This Earth Day, take action for the planet by putting plants on your plate and helping us turn Earth Day into Vegan Earth Day.
